In-depth study of nanoscale electrochemical polishing technology
Deep Research on Nano Electropolishing Technology|Major Progress Made in Selective Polishing and Recess Compensation
Wimizo R&D Team has been conducting in-depth research on nano-level electropolishing technology for precious metal surfaces, focusing on electrolyte formulation optimization and dynamic current-voltage control based on aluminum regulation.
The study aims to break through the limitations of conventional electropolishing, which often causes excessive overall metal loss and blurring of fine details. By adopting a partial electropolishing strategy, the team selectively polishes designated areas of precious metal components while protecting precision structures such as carved patterns, ring settings, and micro contours.
In particular, the research focuses on directional compensation for recessed and uneven surfaces. Through closed-loop adjustment of current, voltage, and aluminum-related process parameters, low-lying and irregular areas can be compensated more uniformly, improving surface smoothness while preserving the original three-dimensional details.
The project has achieved major progress. The optimized process is expected to enhance the surface quality of 14K/18K gold jewelry and CVD diamond-set products, and strengthen Wimizo’s competitiveness in OEM custom manufacturing.
